Beyond the Spotlight: Chronicles in Music History


“Beyond The Spotlight” exhibit brings together a legendary group of photographers whose iconic images of musical legends from the 70s to today have shaped our visual perception of these artists and their music. The exhibit aims to unite established photographers who have cemented their legacy in history with emerging talents on their way to greatness. This blend of accomplished and rising photographers has resulted in a compelling variety of photographic works and musical subjects.

Visitors will enjoy photographs of iconic artists like the Ramones, John Lennon, Iggy Pop, Lou Reed, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Nirvana, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Sonic Youth, Strokes, Interpol, and White Stripes, alongside newer acts such as IDLES, Phoebe Bridgers, Mitski, and Cigarettes After Sex.

This exhibit celebrates the music’s remarkable capacity to unite people from all walks of life.
