The Music Photo Gallery is thrilled to have participated in Photo London 2021—an eminent international photography event and a hub for London's vibrant photography community—from September 9th to 12th at Somerset House, London, UK.
Among the distinguished galleries featured, The Music Photo Gallery showcased "Bob Dylan: Vintage Photographs," a Collective Exhibition by Daniel Kramer, Bob Gruen, Elliott Landy, and Ebet Roberts, at booth F12 in the Main section.
For this curated selection, we delved extensively into the archives of these prolific photographers, collaborating with them in their studios in New York City and Woodstock. Our exploration unearthed long-kept treasures: unique artistic pieces, many of which had never before been showcased. This exhibition unveiled, for the first time, a collection of seldom-seen vintage prints that intimately chronicle Bob Dylan's early career from various perspectives: on stage, in the studio, and at home with his family.
These represent the formative memories of a generation. This exhibition transcends the musical icon, delving into its creation and hinting at the enduring influence of these images on musicians and culture at large even today.
