The Music Photo Gallery presenta la muestra “Rock&Roll Legends at the beach” en el espacio cultural El PIONERO en el Balneario de Santa Monica (KM 177,5 de la Ruta 10) Jose Ignacio, Uruguay.
La exhibición cuenta con una imponente selección de las mejores obras de Bob Gruen (New York,1945), Chris Stein (New York), Mick Rock (Londres, 1948 -2021) y Roberta Bayley.
Esta presentación se aventura más allá de la escena del rock neoyorquino sumando el registro de la primera ola del punk británico con piezas de los Sex Pistols y The Clash que trajeron una actitud agresiva y una nueva imagen rebelde a la escena de las bandas.
Hay retratos de Joe Strummer, Mick Jagger y Keith Richards, Debbie Harry, Prince, Bob Dylan, Ramones, Iggy Pop, John Lennon, Sid Vicious, Patti Smith y David Bowie y muchas imágenes de las grandes bandas tocando en vivo en los años 70s. Estas bandas y sus rockstars marcaron para siempre no solo la música de las generaciones siguientes sino también la imagen, el vestuario y la actitud en los escenarios de todas las grupos de rock al día de hoy.
En este contexto de piezas fotográficas originales de colección que son el registro de un época irrepetible, el mar de fondo y las dunas que rodean a El Pionero, The Music Photo Gallery invita a todos los amantes de la música y las artes visuales a recorrer esta exhibición hasta fines de Febrero de 2023.

The Music Photo Gallery presents "Rock & Roll Legends" in the Club Cultural "El PIONERO" in Santa Monica (at KM 177.5 on the Route #10) in Jose Ignacio, Uruguay. The exhibition features an impressive selection of the best images by Bob Gruen (New York, 1945), Ebet Roberts (New York), Mick Rock (London, 1948 -2021) and Roberta Bayley (New York). The show ventures beyond the New York rock scene adding to the record the first wave of British punk with pieces from the Sex Pistols and The Clash that brought an aggressive attitude and a rebellious new image to the rock scene. There are portraits of Joe Strummer, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, Debbie Harry, Prince, Bob Dylan, Ramones, Iggy Pop, John Lennon, Sid Vicious, Patti Smith and David Bowie and many images of big rock bands performing live on different stages of the 70s. These bands and their rockstars marked not only the music of the following generations but also the image, the costumes and the attitude on the stages of all rock groups to this day. In this context of original photographic pieces that are the record of an unrepeatable era, the sea in the background and the dunes that surround El Pionero, The Music Photo Gallery invites all lovers of music and visual arts to visit this exhibition which will remain open until the end of February 2023.
