This 1989 performance shot of Lenny Kravitz was taken during his London debut at the Borderline Club in London. This was the year he signed with Virgin Records and released his first album, Let Love Rule .
The video for the title track of that album starred Kravitz's then-wife Lisa Bonet, who played Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show and its spinoff A Different World.
