The Music Photo Gallery is thrilled to announce its participation in Photo London 2024, hosted at Somerset House, London, UK.

As a premier New York gallery, we invite you to explore an exhibition that captures the musical essence and underground scenes of 1970s New York—a period marked by intense creative passion that has lastingly influenced modern culture.

Our exhibition showcases seminal photographers who documented the city’s vibrant life. Among them is Bob Gruen, whose "Rockers" exhibition features the last available portfolio from his collection, including 20 iconic pieces along with contemporary large-format reproductions that epitomize his illustrious career.

Marcia Resnick’s work offers a deep dive into the Punk movement, with a broad array of her photographs that capture the raw, unfiltered spirit of the time. The exhibition is further enriched by unique vintage pieces from Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Divine, and Johnny Thunders, underscoring their significant impacts on our cultural heritage.

For the first time, we are excited to present an unseen collection by Ebet Roberts featuring Debbie Harry. This exclusive series includes vintage silver gelatin prints from the early 70s, showcasing a youthful Debbie with brunette hair in her early artistic phases.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of one of the most influential bands in music history, The Ramones, Roberta Bayley offers a portfolio of 20 vintage pieces. This collection, along with unlimited edition vintage photographs of The Ramones, provides a rare insight into the band’s rich legacy.

We warmly welcome all photography enthusiasts, art connoisseurs, and devotees of cultural history to this exhibition that provides a reflective look at a crucial era in New York City. Delve into a carefully curated collection that captures the vibrant energy and artistic spirit of this unforgettable decade.
